Join us for lunch on Wednesday, 27th November, for a special NORD-SUD wine list takeover

From 12 to 2 p.m., Winemaker Anna Martens will be pouring her wines from the Adelaide Hills.

NORD-SUD wines are produced by Anna Martens and Frenchman Eric Narioo, who previously made wines together on Mount Etna in Sicily.

In 2022, Eric and Anna started a small organic wine project in the Adelaide Hills, called “Nord-Sud”. Renting space in a friend’s winery in Basket Range, they have invested in clay vessels, used puncheons and small stainless-steel tanks. They source only organic grapes from a range of sites in and across the Adelaide Hills. Fermentation is spontaneous, conducted by indigenous yeasts, no chemicals or additives are used. Wines are bottled without fining and filtering, with only minimum SO2 added, if deemed necessary for the overall stability of the wine.
